Rostock-based company EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH has received an order from Swedish energy group Vattenfall to produce 41 monopiles for the 344-MW Vesterhav offshore wind farms. By August 2022, EEW SPC will have processed around 25,500 tonnes of steel for the order.
The two wind farms are located off the coast of Denmark in the North Sea. Completion is planned for the end of 2023. After commissioning, the Vesterhav project will supply up to 380,000 Danish households with sustainable electricity every year. Tube / Hall 3 / A04
