The first monopile for the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm has been completed. The pile weighs 1,363 tonnes with a diameter of 9 metres. Baltic Eagle is the second wind farm project by Spanish energy company Iberdrola in the German Baltic Sea. All 50 monopiles will be manufactured by August 2022 and coated by November 2022. As the wind farm in the Baltic Sea is virtually on EEW SPC’s doorstep, the foundations will be transported to the installation site by float in the spring of 2023. Tube / Hall 3 / A04
