Sidenor has acquired Aguilar Metal Recycling (AMR). With the purchase, Sidenor boosts its metal waste treatment capacity and ensures the continuous supply of quality industrial scrap. Located in Valencia, AMR specialises in recovering and recycling industrial waste. Most of the waste comes from companies closely linked to the automotive sector. AMR also provides services for waste management within these companies.
Sidenor currently buys scrap from various providers under strict quality criteria. It is worth noting that AMR has a strategic location in the Valencia town of Sagunto, a significant area in terms of scrap generation due to the presence of car production plants, and an excellent logistical location, 300 m from the port and 5 km from the rail freight terminal.
