Exner has delivered its newest large press from Ennepetal to REMBE in Brilon by special transporter. Weighing in at 80 tonnes and measuring 3.9 x 3.1 x 5.6 m (L x W x H), the press is anything but ordinary. The press has a pressing force of 12,000 kN and is used to test and manufacture bursting discs. The special feature of the press is the highly accurate pressure control “with the possibility to achieve almost unlimited pressure holding times,” Exner explains.
